A 158 MT kiln tyre and shell, 6 meters across, was replaced inside a shutdown window with zero room to spare.

That was the challenge at a major cement plant, where restricted space demanded precise engineering and optimised lift sequencing from the first move.

Crane deployed for the lift:
Terex CC 2800-1 crawler crane in SSL/LSL configuration, chosen for its capacity and adaptability to the site's spatial and load constraints.

The replacement was executed with detailed engineering, structured planning, and stringent safety controls, reinforcing proven capability in high-tonnage, mission-critical lifts for cement plants and large-scale industrial infrastructure.

Spider cranes have joined our product portfolio, built for sites where access is tight and standard cranes simply can't reach. Sourced from Italy under our association with the MTANDT Group, these units bring sharper engineering and manoeuvrability that opens up jobs we couldn't take on before. A 700 MT crane. A 34.7 MT reactor top. No room for error.

Lifting a component this heavy and this precise isn't a job you improvise. Our SML team executed the operation using the 700 MT capacity SAC7000T7 Telescopic Truck mounted crane, deployed for the first time in a luffing jib configuration. Every rigging detail was planned down to the last degree.

The result: a high-precision, incident-free lift that pushed the project timeline forward. This is engineering discipline in action.
