Duration of the course : One Year for Technical graduates,post graduates (BE/B.Tech/AMIE/M.Sc Physics) / Two Years for Diploma holders or B.Sc graduates /Three Years for 10+2 Sci (PCMEng)/ IBDP/ 'A' level. One Year for Class 2/1 MEO (FG) / Chief Mate/Captains in Merchant Navy or Equivalent ranks from Defence-Navy or ATS in Marine Engg. Methodology : by Research Thesis (min.10,000 words ) Student will have to register their subject choice ( from the majors) and guide with SMA and submit the thesis for assessment by Examiners appointed by Starships Maritime Academy. Thesis submitted should be the original work of the student. Successful completion will lead to Associate Member grade for Diploma Students/10+2 and Member Grade for Degree Students and Chartered Marine Technologist qualification from Institute of Marine Technologists (India). Fees : 1,50,000/- per head for one year registration (includes admission,thesis assessment,membership and Chartered Qualification.) USD 2500/- ( for other than Indian Sub-Continent countries residents )
