A significant milestone towards safe and urban development 🌱

We are proud to share the successful inauguration of the 10 KLD Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant ( ) at Barpeta Road, , held on 25th December 2025.

The facility was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Minister, Rural & Urban Development, Assam, marking an important milestone in strengthening scientific faecal sludge management in the region.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of:

🔹 Ms. Burah, Executive Officer, Barpeta Road Municipal Board
🔹 Ward Commissioners and officials of Barpeta Road Municipal Board

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, India, the village witnessed the inauguration of a 180 KLD Sewage Treatment Plant based on Tiger Bio-Filter Technology on 10th September 2025.

The event was attended by
