When a pump is expected to handle demanding products and process conditions, real-world performance matters as much as technical specifications. The trials provide an opportunity to run the customer’s actual product through the pump and observe its behaviour under relevant operating conditions. Parameters such as flow, pressure, suction capability, product handling and pumping efficiency can be evaluated, helping establish how the FDS performs for the intended application.
Throughout the process, Fristam’s technical team works with the customer to understand the application and replicate the required operating conditions as closely as possible. The observations and trial results are then used to identify the appropriate pump configuration for the process.
For applications involving viscous, shear-sensitive or complex products, this hands-on validation provides valuable insight before equipment selection and helps ensure that the chosen pump is suited to both the product and production requirements.
