Driving Innovation in Green Mobility 🌱

ARAI is pleased to announce the signing of a Project Agreement (MoU) with Waaree Group Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited for Phase II of the Green Hydrogen Pilot Project in the Transport Sector under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

The MoU was exchanged between Dr. Reji Mathai, Director, ARAI, and Mr. Anuj Sharma, CEO - Hydrogen Business, Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited, marking a significant step towards accelerating the adoption of green hydrogen technologies and strengthening India’s sustainable mobility ecosystem. The occasion was attended by Dr. sukrut thipse, Senior Deputy Director, ARAI, along with senior officials from ARAI and Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited.

Green hydrogen is poised to play a transformative role in decarbonizing the transport sector by enabling clean, efficient, and energy-secure mobility solutions. Through this pilot project, ARAI and Waaree Energies aim to contribute towards the development, validation, and adoption of next-generation hydrogen technologies that support India’s vision of sustainable growth and energy independence.

ARAI extends its sincere gratitude to the MNRE India, Ministry of Heavy Industries, MoRTH India and Ministry of PNG, GOI for their continued guidance and support in advancing the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, ARAI joins the nationwide effort to promote cleaner public spaces, responsible waste management, citizen engagement, and sustainable practices. Guided by the theme "Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat", the campaign highlights the power of collective action in shaping a cleaner India.

This year's campaign is built around key pillars including the transformation of cleanliness target units and public spaces, youth engagement through Yuva for Swachhata, recognition of sanitation workers through SafaiMitra Suraksha Seva Evam Samman Shivir, Jan Bhagidari for Swachhata, and promoting circular economy principles through Swachhata Se Samriddhi.

Through awareness, action, and responsible practices, each one of us has a role to play in preserving public spaces and inspiring positive behavioural change. Together, let us transform intent into action and contribute to a lasting culture of cleanliness and environmental stewardship.

छोटे-छोटे प्रयास, जब समाज के हर स्तर पर मिलकर किए जाएं, तो एक बड़ा और सार्थक बदलाव ला सकते हैं।

स्वच्छता ही सेवा 2026 के तहत, ARAI स्वच्छ सार्वजनिक स्थानों, जिम्मेदार कचरा प्रबंधन, नागरिक भागीदारी और टिकाऊ आदतों को बढ़ावा देने के इस राष्ट्रव्यापी अभियान में शामिल हो रहा है। "स्वच्छता में सहभाग, स्वच्छ भारत, विकसित भारत" की थीम पर आधारित यह अभियान दिखाता है कि सामूहिक प्रयासों से एक स्वच्छ भारत बनाना कैसे संभव है।

इस साल का अभियान कुछ मुख्य आधारों पर टिका है — स्वच्छता लक्ष्य इकाइयों और सार्वजनिक स्थानों का कायाकल्प, "युवा फॉर स्वच्छता" के जरिए युवाओं की भागीदारी, "सफाईमित्र सुरक्षा सेवा एवं सम्मान शिविर" के जरिए सफाई कर्मियों का सम्मान, स्वच्छता के लिए जन भागीदारी, और "स्वच्छता से समृद्धि" के जरिए सर्कुलर इकॉनमी को बढ़ावा देना।

जागरूकता, कार्रवाई और जिम्मेदार आदतों के जरिए, सार्वजनिक स्थानों को स्वच्छ रखने और सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने में हम सबकी भूमिका है। आइए, हम सब मिलकर अपने इरादों को अमल में लाएं और स्वच्छता व पर्यावरण संरक्षण की एक स्थायी संस्कृति बनाएं।
