Our 9th RMX Plant in Mumbai: Purpose-Built for a Major Warehouse Project

Adani Cement’s ninth Ready-Mix Concrete (RMX) plant in Mumbai is now operational at Padgha, near the Bhiwandi region.

Set up exclusively for the Antonov Industrial Warehouse Project, the facility has a production potential of approximately 7,000 m³ per month. Its modern batching infrastructure, quality control systems and efficient logistics network help meet the project’s concrete requirements with consistency and reliability.

The plant strengthens our ability to deliver concrete solutions tailored to the needs of large-scale construction.

The green belts around our plants in peninsular India are home to some remarkable wildlife - including the Ruddy Mongoose, one of only two mongoose species endemic to India and Sri Lanka.

Also known as Urva Smithii, this fearless, solitary hunter is native to India and Sri Lanka. Recognised by its brownish fur and distinctive black-tipped tail, it prefers the seclusion of forested areas over human settlements - hunting by day and night and largely keeping to itself. Often mistaken for a pest, it remains one of the more fascinating mammals found in the landscapes surrounding our operations.

Sightings like these are a reminder of the rich biodiversity that continues to thrive alongside our plants.

At Adani Cement, protecting the natural ecosystems around our operations remains a priority, so that species like the Ruddy Mongoose have every reason to keep calling these landscapes home.

Strengthening Our Concrete Supply Network in Central India

Adani Cement has inaugurated its third Ready-Mix Concrete (RMX) plant in Indore, located at Sanwer Road, expanding its capacity to serve the region’s construction and infrastructure requirements.

This addition marks another step in strengthening our RMX network and supporting Central India’s development.

The Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC), the skill development arm of the Adani Foundation, at ACC Thondebhavi, Karnataka, is helping young people build careers closer to home, without having to choose between earning a livelihood and staying close to their families.

Santhosha, from Chikkadalavatta village, had completed his ITI and gained work experience, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn. However, finding the right job opportunity close to home remained a challenge. Through the Domestic Data Entry Operator course at ASDC, he strengthened his digital, communication and workplace skills, bridging the gap between his existing qualifications and professional aspirations. With placement support, he secured a job at Musashi Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd. in Doddaballapura, enabling him to pursue his career while staying close to his family.

For the Adani Foundation at ACC Thondebhavi, Santhosha’s journey reflects how skill development and employment opportunities closer to home can create sustainable livelihoods and transform lives.

In the tribal village of Devapur, Telangana, Adani Foundation has helped improve the infrastructure at MPPS Gatraopally, a government primary school near Ambuja Cements’ Devapur site, benefiting 28 students.

The addition of a compound wall, concrete flooring and a dedicated kitchen shed has addressed long-standing challenges related to waterlogging, campus security and hygienic meal preparation. These improvements have also helped teachers conduct classes with fewer weather-related disruptions and strengthened parents’ confidence in sending their children to school regularly.

By strengthening essential school infrastructure, this initiative supports a more conducive learning environment and better access to education in remote rural and tribal communities.

At ACC Sindri, Jharkhand, Adani Foundation's Sangini Mart initiative is helping women build financial independence on their own terms.

Alka Kumari, a specially abled woman from Gullitand village, aspired to overcome financial vulnerability despite limited resources and livelihood opportunities. Through Sangini Mart, Adani Foundation supported her with the initial shop set-up and inventory she needed to establish and independently manage a local retail shop.

Today, Alka contributes meaningfully to her family's financial wellbeing, while the initiative has strengthened her confidence, dignity and standing in her community.
