With two CO₂ cylinders connected to the system, one cylinder works as the primary supply, while the second remains ready as a backup.
As the primary cylinder approaches depletion, HAWK-ACU automatically detects the pressure change and switches the gas supply to the secondary cylinder. The active and standby lines change automatically, without requiring manual intervention.
And the system doesn’t just change over—it also provides an alarm notification, informing the operator that the primary cylinder is empty and the supply has been switched to the secondary cylinder.
Once the primary cylinder is replaced and restored, the system can automatically change the supply back to the primary line, keeping the secondary cylinder ready as backup.
