We are proud to share that the 330/225/90/33 kV substation project being executed by KEC in Burkina Faso has achieved a 90+ score in the African Development Bank’s Environmental & Social audit for 2025.

The audit assessed the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), where the project demonstrated strong compliance across key parameters of sustainability, safety, and regulatory adherence. A commendable effort by the entire project team.

KEC International is proud to have contributed to Tata Steel’s Electric Arc Furnace plant in Ludhiana, recently inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, N. Chandrasekaran Chairman, Tata Sons and T. V. Narendran, CEO & MD - Tata Steel.

Spread across 115 acres, this facility is India’s 2nd largest steel plant. KEC executed a large and integrated scope covering civil works, structural er****on, equipment installation and extensive piping systems, ensuring seamless commissioning of the plant. The plant will use 100% steel scrap metal as raw material to produce steel, supporting a more sustainable future.

Delivered with strong project management, quality and safety standards, this project marks a significant step towards a circular and low-carbon steel ecosystem in India.
