Boro-Tech Micro Boring Head Dia 100 mm fitted with a BT40 Shank and few extensions.

The user needed a Boring Solution for deep boring operation for diameters larger than 110 mm. This Boring Head has a body dia of 100 mm.

Each of the three extensions is 60 mm thus taking the total to 180 mm. Add to it the height of the boring head of 100 mm, you get the total working length of at least 280 mm. The user can set the Boring Tool height as per requirement.

The Boring head takes 25 mm Boring Tools and a has feed screw of 0.01 mm or 20 microns on the diameter.

The body Dia is 62 mm.
Graduation is 1 Div.= 0.01 mm which means you get increments of 20 Micron on the diameter.
Hardened and Ground Boring Head Body increases life and durability.
The Boring Head takes Dia 12 mm Tools with entry Dia 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and a horizontal boring tool with entry Dia 92.
The tools are from LD3 to LD4.

Boro-Tech Micro Boring Head Dia 75 mm kit with BT40 Shank and a set of Dia 20 mm TPGX09/11 Indexable (inserted) tools.
The body Dia is 75 mm which is a medium weight boring head ideal for user in VMC and HMC giving the balance between size and sturdiness.

The kit is supplied in a fine briefcase box giving you a mix of elegance and usefulness.

The boring head holds shank dia 20 mm tools with various entry diameters and working lengths thus giving you flexibility in covering sizes from 10 mm to up to 180 mm. Using a reduction sleeve and additional dia 12 mm tools, bores as small as 6 mm can also be machined.

The tools are made of tool steel which gives a relatively vibration free experience- the next best thing to anti-vibration tooling.

With a least count of 0.01 mm, 20 micron adjustments can be made on the diameter.

Developed as a single body Head and Shank so as to give one sturdy unit. The head and the shank portion are constructed as one single piece which eliminates the need of a mounting thread.

With a least count of 0.01 mm, 20 micron adjustments can be made on the diameter. Boring capacity can go up to 100 mm. The unit takes standard 12 mm shank tools.
