Hammers
The striking tools are used in different shops for different operations. The striking tool is identified by a hammer. These hammers are used for chipping, fitting and punching processes. A hammer has a heavy iron body with a wooden handle. The weight range from 0.25 kg to 2 kg. The hammer is many types but the classification of the hammer can be done by their shapes of pean. The pean is the top part of the hammer. When the pean shape changed the name of the hammer also changed.

Hand Hacksaw frame
Cutting tools
The tools which are used to remove or cut the material is known is cutting tools.
Hand Hacksaw
Hand Hacksaw is used for cutting of rods, flat, etc. The Blade of the hacksaw is made up of high Carbon Steel or high-speed steel. And the frame is made from mild steel. The Blade is placed inside the frame and tightened with the help of flange nut. The teeth of the blade are generally forward cut. The hacksaw should be used in a straight direction otherwise it will result in breaking of blades. The length of blades varies from 8” to 14” but generally in 12 inches blade is used in a fixed hacksaw frame. The thickness and width of the blade are 1 mm and 1/2 inches respectively.

The casting is the quickest way to produce a complicated shape. The casting is the mechanism that produces a new shape that you want. Let us start the casting from starting. First of all, we are produce a mold with the help of sand. The mold is a cavity that is created by some particular patterns. The cavity that is produced in the sand is called mold.
In a simple way, if we talk about casting, the casting is completed in two parts.
1 To make a mold.
2. To pouring the molten metal into the mold.
So we are going to start the 1st process.

WHAT IS SMITHY AND FORGING?
Smithy or Forging is the oldest shaping process used for producing small articles for which accuracy in size is not so important. The parts are shaped by heating them in an open fire or hearth by the blacksmith and shaping them through applying compressive forces using a hammer.In other Words:-The process of giving the desired shape of a metal piece by heating and hammering is also known as forging. The metal is heated up to a Desire temperature known as a forging temperature. When the forging is done by hand tool manually then it is called hand forging and when the same forging is performed by the power hammering then it is called power forging.
