EyeROV is heading to SWAVLAMBAN 2026, the Indian Navy’s flagship annual seminar on naval innovation and indigenisation.

With two military-grade TROUT ROVs delivered to the Indian Navy under the iDEX DISC 7 SPRINT Challenge, this gathering holds special meaning for our team. It represents a journey from an indigenous engineering ambition to technology placed in the hands of those who protect our seas.

Did you know that dams are now being inspected by robots?

Inspecting the underwater sections of a dam has traditionally meant shutdowns, divers and limited visual checks. In deep, dark water, cracks, corrosion and sediment can stay hidden.

EyeROV underwater robots are changing that. Equipped with HD cameras and sonar, they inspect dam walls, intake gates, gate grooves, trash racks, flooded tunnels and penstocks, while surface vessels map reservoir depth and sediment. AI-assisted defect detection then helps engineers focus on what needs a closer look.

When a system is delivered to the Indian Navy, it carries more than a serial number.

It carries responsibility.

Responsibility to perform when conditions are unforgiving.
Responsibility to support the people protecting our waters.
Responsibility to justify the trust placed in Indian technology.

In a milestone we are proud to share, two TROUT military-grade ROV systems have been delivered to the Indian Navy, as part of a five-system programme.

For EyeROV, this is a deeply meaningful moment.

Because the real significance of TROUT is not simply that it was built in India.

It is that an Indian-built underwater robotic system is now moving from development and validation into service with one of the country’s most critical institutions.

That changes what this milestone means to us.

It is no longer only about what we are capable of building.

From building underwater robots in India to being recognised on an international offshore stage in Dubai, this one means a lot.

EyeROV has received the OJME Offshore Achievement Award 2026 for Outstanding Achievement in Marine Autonomous Technology.

For us, this recognition is not just about technology. It is about every mission where machines can go where people shouldn’t have to. Every inspection made safer. Every critical asset understood better. Every decision made with greater confidence beneath the surface.
