The biggest threat to health is food habits. A renowned doctor said a beautiful thing. told. Globalization is key to obaesity and ill health. why should an African eat Pizza and indian should eat Beef or an American shoud eat Noodles. ? but for globalization. Be a Roman in Rome. My father used to say all the food suits to our health is available in our vicinity so is the medicinal lant grows around. if we control our food, majority of our diseases disappear. india has produced Leaders, kings, prophets, Avatar purush, saints and so many great people, i took up writing books on ancient indian leadership. initially i decided to take up three great people who influences people across continents. They are Sri Ram, Sri Krishna, Buddha and their leadership style and management principles

met Ram family in vizag who was with me in Andhra University, HPCL refinery and , Essar oil . few were like him a trail blazer and brilliant chemical engineer. Later he was Commercial head of Essar Oil UK. we are proud of his daughter. who is my pet and got admission in MIT . i wish her all the best in her academics and career.

looking at Sriram as a leadership role model is a new concept. in my book " successful management styles of india" i mentioned ancient indian management styles started from Sri Ram , Siri Krishna and Buddha". Recently i saw some people started chanakya, Gandhi also as role models. for Leadership.

DARBAR VS CABIN

My parents named me Raja Sekhar.
• Raja means King.
• Sekhar relates to the crescent moon adorning Lord Shiva.
At the time, it was just a name. But names are the first Mantra given to a soul. They create a vibration. As I grew, I realized that being a "Raja" is not about Power; it is about the Darbar (The Court).
In the corporate world, I saw many Managers. They sat in Cabins. In a cabin, the door is closed. The manager uses anger to hide his ignorance. When asked "Why?", he feels threatened. In a Darbar, the door is open. The King invites inquiry (Pariprasna). He replaces Authority with Authenticity.
I did not know it then, but this name was the seed of my management style. I never took permissions. I followed a free, frank, and fearless approach. I preferred to forgive the mistakes of my staff while I trained them to be the best. I learned that anger is merely a shield for weakness. A true Raja rules through care, not fear.
• If someone saw Arrogance in me, someone else saw Competence.
• If someone saw Indiscipline, someone else saw Dedicated Work.
• If someone did not like my Free Approach, someone else saw an Honest Employee.
I am the same person. But the viewpoint changed as I worked in different countries and under different management styles.

2. The Mammoth Machine
I landed in Jubail. It wasn't just a plant; it was the heart of the global chemical economy. We produced Styrene and Ethylene. The scale was so massive that there was a saying: "If our Styrene plant sneezes, the world markets catch a cold.".
We had the world's largest Hitachi Compressor. Starting it was an event. Before we hit "Start," we had to call the Saudi Electric Company for permission. Why?

Because the power surge was so massive that the lights in the entire city of Jubail would dip.

AUHTOR'S NOTE:
later when i was head of Process design in Essar Oil, i joked with our operation chief, technical experts shudder to start a massive compressor though they can design biggest and best machine's. so also operations chiefs looking at design calculations get worried , what happens if there is any error. we both laughed.
