International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) organized an interactive workshop for Construction Equipment Vehicle (CEV) Manufactures on 19th June,2024 at Bengaluru that is, "CEV Stage V : Regulation and opportunities". 46 participants from various CEV manufacturers participated in this event. Emphasis was given on AIS160 Part 2 regulation and ICAT's readiness to support all relevant customers. We are delighted to share the glimpses of grand celebration of International Women’s Day at ICAT Convention Centre (ICC).

Shri Saurabh Dalela, Director-ICAT explained the relevance of International Women’s Day in today’s context for accelerating progress referring to our Indian ancient heritage and civilization.

Ms. SUDHA YADAV, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Gurugram; Ms. MUGDHA MISHRA, The Editor of Automobiles in NDTV; Ms. MEGHNA DEV, Correspondence for DD News, graced the occasion as Guest of Honor. They shared their experiences about the challenges faced in life and how they overcome those which can motivate not only women, but also anyone for better contribution towards self-development and society at large.

Each women member of National Automotive Board (NAB) and International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) was felicitated after the excellent cultural program performed by the ICATian.

First PLI-Automotive Certificate awarded by ICAT, Manesar to OlA Electric Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

We are delighted to announce that OlA Electric Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has been conferred with the PLI-Auto Certificate for their Battery Electric Vehicle (2W)- Ola S1 Pro (Gen2) under PLI-Auto scheme of MHI, by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar. The certificate was handed over by Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Additional Secretary - MHI, to Dr. S.J. Dinagar, Head-Engineering & Sr. VP of OlA Electric, in the presence of Shri Saurabh Dalela, Director-ICAT and other Sr. Officials from MHI, ICAT & OlA Electric.

Our sincere congratulations to the entire team of OlA Electric for their contribution in “Make In India” drive for “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” in advanced automotive technology.

ICAT was established in year 2006. It is one of the divisions of National Automotive Board (NAB), under Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India. ICAT had been notified by Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) in Rule 126 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) for Testing & Certification of Automobiles & their Safety Critical Components. Also, ICAT has been authorized by MHI for PLI-Auto Certification of AAT Products and FAME Certification.

Shri Saurabh Dalela, Director-ICAT shared the success story of ICAT since its start of journey in 2006 and how ICAT has become a well-known brand in the Auto Industry for Homologation and Testing.
