Behind every landmark infrastructure project are the people who make it possible. ✈️

Noida International Airport represents one of India’s most ambitious aviation developments, designed to strengthen regional connectivity while setting new benchmarks for sustainable infrastructure.

At Ramboll, we are proud to have contributed as an Infrastructure Design Consultant, supporting the project from its early conception through to commissioning. Delivering a development of this scale required deep collaboration across disciplines, geographies, and teams, bringing together global expertise to translate complex ideas into resilient, future-ready infrastructure.

From airside and landside systems to site-wide infrastructure and sustainability strategy, Ramboll experts worked closely with partners and construction teams to ensure that the solutions were not only innovative and sustainable, but also practical and constructible on the ground.

Our teams also helped shape a sustainability roadmap aimed at reducing the airport’s carbon footprint, while applying international best practices and digital delivery to support an integrated design process across the project lifecycle.

✈️ Welcome to Noida International Airport, India’s next world-class aviation hub shaped by Ramboll.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the airport on Saturday, 28 March, marking a major milestone in the country’s development of more sustainable aviation hubs. Designed as a state-of-the-art greenfield airport, it is expected to transform connectivity, logistics, and sustainable aviation in the region.

Ramboll is proud to have served as the Infrastructure Design Consultant for this landmark project. Our scope covered end-to-end infrastructure design across the masterplan area, including:

⚙️ Airfield, landside systems, utilities and site-wide infrastructure
⚙️ A BIM-led, sustainability-driven design approach supporting Zurich Airport Ltd’s long-term net-zero ambition for Noida International Airport
⚙️A comprehensive decarbonisation roadmap for energy, fuel, water, and waste
⚙️ Nature-based systems for water and waste management
⚙️ ICT networks, ancillary buildings, and multimodal integration

As one of India’s largest integrated aviation and logistics developments, the airport showcases what coordinated engineering, innovation, and sustainability can achieve, and the dedication of our multidisciplinary teams to collaborate and deliver for clients across borders.

A new space for our next chapter in India 🚀

We are delighted to announce the opening of our new office in Noida, located at Smart Works, World Trade Tower, Plot No. C-1, Sector 16.

This expansion reflects our strong intent to deepen our presence in the region and reinforces our long-term commitment to Noida as a strategic location for our continued growth and operations.

The office was inaugurated by our India MD, Mukesh Garg, alongside our leadership team, SANJAY AGARWAL, Venkat Gadepalli, Pankaj Sachdeva, Rajni Dhiman, Akrosh Saxena, Rohit Chaudhri, and in the presence of colleagues, making it a proud and memorable occasion for everyone involved.

Located in a state-of-the-art, LEED Platinum-certified building, the new workspace has been thoughtfully designed to support sustainable, digitally enabled, and agile ways of working. With a capacity of 130 workstations, the office features four meeting rooms, a locker room, and a dedicated dry cafeteria area, all aimed at enhancing collaboration and productivity.

This move underscores our ongoing commitment to better serve our clients, support our teams, and build a strong foundation for sustained growth in the region.
