Like many Gunturites, "Greater Guntur" can't keep mum doing nothing when my fellow gunturites when day to day struggling
with back-breaking roads in the city. we would like to bring to notice of our local MP Jay Galla who is already on the job working with GMC officials and Shapoorji Pallooniji and local MLAs of and Guntur to wake up. We want our
pro-active MP Jay Galla to visit our roads more and review with GMC officials constant basis...
1. Did you know The unscientific ex*****on of underground drainage (UGD) works in the city have turned roads into death-traps? Large number of residents drop their children in the schools in two-wheelers. Imagine your own Kid falling off
from the bike when you are riding near the same speed as trunck behind, stopped bike suddenly when kids falls off.
2. A ride on these potholed roads of Amaravati road and Ponnur road can be back-breaking with several vehicle riders are
complaining of backaches.
3. Contarcts/GMC dig up the road for UGD. No Re-lay roads dug up for UGD works. Why? Whome Gunturies should ask?
4. Many of my fellow Gunturies are suffering from various dust related diseases following their exposure to dust. City that
call capital can't use basic technology of road cleaning equipment having hi-tech CM in the office.
5. GMC doesn't take up dysfunctional traffic signals which are also adding to the woe ..
6. GMC is not in a position to take up even a single road development due to lack of field level co-operation and
due to the chaos many say prevailing in the administration. They are neither completing the ongoing works nor are
proposing new works
7. If driving through narrow potholed roads is a nightmarish experience, what adds to motorists’ woes is the presence
of sign boards and hoardings put up on main roads in the city ..
8. Several areas would waterlogged in Guntur city if we have small rain. Many areas in the city
would submerge under the sheet of 2-3 feet of Rain water including prime areas of Brodipet and Arundalpet.
9. The main roads gets clogged in evening owing to rush of students from a residential colleges in the city.
With the space getting eaten up by sign boards, motorists find it exasperating to drive..
10. Women carrying kids facing hell a lot of problems to walk on the roads when it rains withrain water and mud
on the road on one side and the vehicles stuck due to rain.
Just about it & this message to Raise your support ....!!!
