Mr. Charanjeet Nagpal, Chairman and Managing Director, Prem Motors Pvt. Ltd. started his entrepreneurial career in 1981 with a small shop at Gwalior dealing in automobile spare parts. He took over a dealership of Rajdoot Motorcycles in July 1989 as a on going concern known as “Prem Motors” and over the period with strong intentions, determination and commitment to provide value for money to esteemed customers; he emerged as the market leader and earned the image of a hardworking and self-made successful entrepreneur in Gwalior. He received “Gwalior Ratna Award” in the year 1998-99 from Late Shrimant Madhav Rao Scindia.
Since then the business grew manifold due to his hard work, visionary approach and zeal. From one dealership of Maruti Suzuki in Gwalior established in the year 2001, the dealerships have now been extended and established across five states MP, UP, Rajasthan, Delhi and Haryana. From the year 2011, he started transportation business for Maruti Suzuki as well, the business being established now with a fleet size of 157 Car Carriers.
The consistent performance at all fronts and the profound knowledge of business and relevant intricacies, he has won many awards and recognitions in social and professional career. He enjoys the honour of receiving certificate awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister of MP State Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, on 3rd Sept 2007 for being the first automobile dealer in MP State to have successfully executed Online Dealer Point Registration Facility. The consistent growth over years has won BHAMASHAH AWARD for consecutive six years in a row for 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 for being the highest tax payer in Gwalior region.
He is actively involved in social spheres as well and holds vital positions at social forums like Lions Clubs International, Jiwaji Club, MPCCI, Gwalior Division Cricket Association, FADA, Motor Vehicle Dealers Association Jaipur etc.
Mr. Kanwaljeet Nagpal, Director, Prem Motors Pvt. Ltd. joined the family business in April 2008. Since, he was brought up in a family business culture, after completing his schooling from the Scindia School, Gwalior, and after pursuing his graduation, He undertook MBA in Family Managed Business course from the SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
In the year 2008, He joined the family business as an apprentice in Jaipur and then climbed up the ladder to become the CEO of the dealership in two and a half years. He showed his entrepreneurial spirit by working his way up the business ladder and learning the nitty gritties of the organization and was conferred with “The Young Entrepreneurship Award” for the year 2010-11 by Maruti Suzuki India Limited in the All India's Dealers Conference.
Currently, He is managing the entire affairs of the NCR & Jaipur region & looks after the day to day operations. He brings with him valuable experience of running complex managed services business. It’s his dream to achieve the coveted Top Spot by spreading company’s presence all over the country, serving customers with delight and care. He ensures that the Company follows a highly customer centric approach.
In addition to all his interests is, Photography and Swimming. He is a National level swimmer as well.
