The result is a lower cost to the utility and the customer, more reliable power, and reduced carbon emissions. The problems of climate change which is a woe to this era acts as the downfall and the quick-fix is the age of smart grids
The roadmap to success is laid by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) which was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand as per the “smart grid vision and roadmap for india” on sep 11, 2013 by central power minister Shrimati.
