Job Summary:
Standard Machinery Group (Chennai, INDIA) is a diversified business organization with interests in manufacturing, distribution and retail of Graphic Arts & Food Processing machinery and equipment.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales & marketing (Printing & Packaging machinery consumables) and will be responsible for driving sales growth and enhancing the company's market presence. This role involves working closely with the senior management team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential clients within the printing & packaging industry.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
Marketing Strategy:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns that promote our logistics services.
Develop and manage content for digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and the company website.
Assist in organizing promotional events, trade shows, and networking activities to enhance the company’s visibility.
Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless ex*****on of logistics services as promised to clients.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and marketing activities.
Mentor and guide junior sales and marketing team members to achieve their individual and team goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the graphic arts industry.
Strong understanding of sales, marketing, operations and services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software, TALLY, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range
The salary range for the Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager position in a Rossmann India Galvanotechnology Pvt. Ltd. in India typically falls between ₹3,00,000 to ₹4,00,000 per annum.
