Skylim Technica™ is a Project Engineering and Consultancy Company . on two Medical College projects in Odisha, spanning a massive 1.6 million sq. ft.

Since its incorporation on 18th July 2016, Skylim Studio has evolved from humble beginnings to an unstoppable force in the design and consulting industry. After an initial year of building its foundation, Skylim received a major breakthrough by consulting for Tata Projects Ltd. This project laid the cornerstone for Skylim's rapid rise, cementing its credibility as a trusted partner in large-scale

infrastructure projects. Over the past seven years, Skylim has grown into one of Odisha's leading consulting and design conglomerates, with a network of associates spread across the subcontinent. Health Infrastructure has emerged as its forte, while Education, Tourism, and Sports have been key focus areas in recent years, especially with the market's resurgence post-pandemic. With an impressive 4 million sq. of infrastructure designed and consulted for, Skylim’s journey, though short, has been marked by stability and growth, positioning it for sustained success in the future.

It was my birthday once again… and as always, the Skylimers made it far more special than I could have ever imagined.

What truly touches my heart every year is the way the team celebrates my birthday with even more joy and enthusiasm than their own. That affection, that sense of belonging, is the real gift I cherish.

This year was even more special as my daughter Disha joined us online all the way from Pune to be a part of the celebration. Her virtual presence added warmth and emotion to the moment ,a beautiful blend of family and professional family coming together.

And the icing on the cake was being felicitated by the First Lady of Skylim my better half, Nirmala Chakraverty. Her words, her presence, and her grace made the occasion deeply meaningful for me.

I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful team and supportive family. Thank you, Skylimers, for the love, respect, and joy you bring into my life. Celebrations fade, but these moments remain in the heart forever.

🍀Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of ICAI Bhawan-Raipur🍀

A proud and memorable moment at Raipur as the Ground Breaking and Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the ICAI Bhawan was celebrated in a grand event, attended by the who’s who of the Chartered Accountants fraternity from Raipur and across Chhattisgarh, along with the Hon’ble President of ICAI from New Delhi and his distinguished team.
The ICAI Bhawan has been designed by Skylim, under the able Project Management Consultancy of NBCC (India) Ltd., a Navaratna Company of the Government of India. Though modest in scale, the building is envisioned as a small yet elegant and high-performance institutional landmark, aspiring to achieve an IGBC Gold Rating.
The design philosophy is deeply rooted in the five natural elements (Pancha Mahabhuta):
🌍 Prithvi (Earth): Symbolizing strength, stability, and the structural foundation of the building.
💦 Jal (Water): Thoughtfully planned water supply, conservation, rainwater harvesting, and efficient disposal systems to ensure optimal water management.
❄️ Vayu (Air): A well-ventilated built form, complemented by an efficient central air-conditioning system to enhance indoor air quality and occupant comfort.
🔥 Agni (Fire / Energy): Comprehensive electrical planning with energy-efficient systems, integration of photovoltaic solar panels, and robust fire detection, alarm, and firefighting systems designed in compliance with safety norms to ensure life safety and resilience.
🌞 Akash (Space/ Sun): Climate-responsive orientation and carefully designed fenestration based on sun-path analysis, enabling glare-free daylight, reduced energy consumption, and improved thermal comfort.
The project reflects a harmonious blend of sustainability, safety, functionality, and architectural sensitivity, aligning with ICAI’s vision for a future-ready institutional environment.
A meaningful beginning for a landmark that will serve the profession and the community for generations to come. 🌱🏗️✨

Her birthday, which fell on 11th January 2026, was truly a moment of togetherness, positivity, and heartfelt wishes.

Skylimers’ Annual Outing to the Enchanting Sundarbans 🌿🚤

Last weekend , Skylimers set off on their much-awaited annual outing to the magical Sundarbans, some of us accompanied by our family members, making the journey even more special. The Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest mangrove forest, crisscrossed by rivers and creeks, and famed for its rich biodiversity and the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.

Our journey began with the Shatabdi Express to Howrah, followed by a comfortable bus ride to Gadkhali, the gateway to the Sundarbans. There, the beautiful boat “Delta Queen” was ready to welcome the Skylimers. Lunch was served on board as we cruised through serene waterways to our resort at Bali Island.

The next day was full of adventure and wonder. Delta Queen took us to several iconic locations, including Dobanki, where we experienced the thrilling 30-foot-high canopy skywalk, almost half a kilometer long, safely netted on both sides—a rare opportunity to observe the forest from above. We then proceeded to Sajnekhali Island, climbed the watchtower, and enjoyed a magnificent panoramic view of the Sundarbans.

At Sajnekhali, we also visited the temple of Goddess Bonbibi, the revered guardian deity of the Sundarbans. Bonbibi symbolizes harmony between humans and nature and is worshipped by locals for protection while venturing into the forest, regardless of religion—a powerful message of coexistence and respect for nature.

The day concluded with a sumptuous feast on the boat, followed by a memorable evening at the resort with a cozy bonfire and vibrant Bengali folk dance of the Sundarbans, graciously arranged by our wonderful host Mr. Mrityunjay Mondal. Laughter, music, and shared moments made the night unforgettable.

Early the next morning, we enjoyed an amazing breakfast on Delta Queen as we cruised back to Gadkhali and returned home the same way we came—hearts full of memories and minds refreshed.

A truly enriching, joyful, and bonding experience for all Skylimers! 🌊🌳✨

Proud to share that the Institute of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at SOA University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha is now a landmark in modern educational infrastructure in veterinary science in India.

With a 6,00,000 sq ft constructed area, this institute is one of the first of its kind among private colleges in India, equipped with world-class facilities that meet international standards.

My sincere gratitude to the management of SOA University for their unwavering trust, support, and visionary outlook that made this landmark project possible.

A special acknowledgment to our team- Skylim Studio for exceptional design leadership, innovation, and commitment to quality. Heartfelt appreciation to my dedicated team, whose hard work, passion, and attention to detail transformed a vision into a living reality.

🎉 Celebrating Our Man Friday – Babuli ! ! 🎉

Yesterday Skylim celebrated the birthday of the one and only Babuli — the Bhai figure of Skylim Studio! 💫

He’s the man who keeps everything running smoothly, looks after every corner of the office, and brings smiles to everyone’s faces with his humour and warmth. To all of Skylimers, he’s more than just a colleague, the Chauffeur, rather he’s everybody's bhai, go-to person, and a constant support be it at any odd hour. ❤️

From tolerating jokes on him to lending a helping hand, Babuli makes every day at Skylim safer. 🌟

💢 Team SKYLIM at 5th Circle level Seminar of Indian Buildings Congress 💢
We witness the participation of senior members of IBC-Odisha chapter , Sri G. N. Sahu, Sri Pramod Nayak, Sri Durga Prasanna Mishra, and Sri Niroj Das along with Sri Priyabrata Samantray, CE-Buildings & Sri Satyabrata Behera, EIC-Civil whose presence and guidance enriched the discussions and inspired all participants.
The seminar sessions were enlightening and knowledge-packed, thanks to the distinguished speakers who shared their expertise across diverse aspects of building maintenance and management:

A special appreciation goes to Sri Ashok Kumar Khatua, Chief Engineer, CPWD, for his outstanding presentation on Building Maintenance Modules, supported by his team of Executive Engineers , one of the true highlights of the evening.

Our heartfelt thanks also to Sri Ashok Basa, Adviser, IBC–Odisha, for his insightful feedback and inspiring words, and to Sri Manoranjan Misra , Former Addl Secy, Works deptt, Govt of Odisha for his excellent summarisation of the day’s proceedings, beautifully capturing the key learnings of the seminar.

We also extend our gratitude to our event partners :- Kansai Nerolac, Ravel, and Trane Technologies , for enriching the seminar through their engaging sessions on innovative materials and technologies that are shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure.
As always, the volunteering service of Skylim Studio, represented by Ar.Dibyadarsini, Ar. Ankita, Er. Sanjaya, Er.Pragyan, and Er. Kanhu, in managing the entire event seamlessly, was widely appreciated by everyone present.
The evening concluded on a spiritually fulfilling note with the serving of Mahaprasad from Sri Mandir, Puri, marking a blessed end to a day filled with learning, collaboration, and camaraderie.

🏗️✨ Groundbreaking Ceremony of OPTCL Sports Arena ✨🏗️

A proud moment for all of us at Skylim Studio as the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sports Arena of OPTCL was held today with great enthusiasm and distinguished presence!

The ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Sri Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, who laid the foundation stone, in the august presence of Sri Suraj Surya Banshi, Hon’ble Minister of Sports & Youth Services, Sri Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, CMD, OPTCL, along with several eminent political leaders and senior bureaucrats.

The upcoming OPTCL Sports Arena is envisioned as a state-of-the-art facility that will promote fitness, wellness, and sporting culture within the organization.
The campus will feature:

Proud moment for all of us at Skylim Studio!
Our team actively participated and contributed to the smooth arrangement Technical Sensitization Programme on Implementation of the Odisha Energy Conservation Building Code (OECBC) — a landmark event jointly organized by the Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) and EIC–Electrical & PCEI, Government of Odisha, with wholehearted support from EIC–Civil, Government of Odisha.

The program brought together experts, engineers, architects, and consultants to discuss and promote energy-efficient and sustainable building practices in the state. It was truly inspiring to see Skylimers shine with their enthusiasm and ideas in such a meaningful initiative! 💡🏗️

We are delighted to share that Studio Skylim has designed the facelift of the Administrative Building of Paradeep Port Authority, appointed by NBCC (India) Ltd.

The highlight of the design — a Giant Wheel and an Anchor conceptualized by Team Skylim and crafted from waste steel salvaged from the shipyard by Dr. Arun Kumar pala, the associate artist of Skylim Studio , has become a major attraction and has been highly appreciated by the Authority. ⚓🌟
