Must knowledge of Huawei/Ciana/Nokia/ECI Equipment
Installing SDH and DWDM equipment,
Coordination with customer for site access, RFI confirmation & materials availability
Material verification at site with respect to site BoQ
DCDB installation, Power cable/Grounding cable laying to DCDB/Power plant and Power tapping in ECI Box / RACK DCDB MCB and labelling
Installation and Commissioning of MUX equipment as per plan including Rack installation
Patch Cord routing, labelling, and connecting to relevant boxes as per the NDD/Plan
Integration & Node AT as per plan along with Power meter, Digital VOA and 1G/10G tester for multi rate SFP's, Prepare AT document and Sign Off from customer
Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment
Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers

Advanced Level of Networking Skills; extensive knowledge of routing and switching, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, multicast

Clear concept and strong technical domain knowledge in routing, switching.

Good knowledge and hands-on experience of using IP/MPLS Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment routing. Implementation Knowledge on L2 & L3 services using - VPLS / MP-BGP and EVPN / VxLAN

Experience in troubleshooting Large L2 and L3 based VPNs

Internetworking troubleshooting experience. Good analytical skills and ability to debug network issues.

Exposure to virtualization and cloud technologies such as OpenStack, virtual networking, distributed programming, Linux containers, and SDN/NFV

Good understanding of modern Intel platform architecture and platform advancements in CPU micro-architecture, cache and memory, IO and virtualization, etc.

CCNP, CCIE with extensive knowledge of

Enterprise class routers (Cisco ASR, GSR, CRS-1)

Cisco IOS software including exposure to IOS XR

MPLS -roles of P, PE, CE, VRFs, etc.

Routing Protocols BGP, OSPF, and ISIS

Other technologies -NAT, Multicast, QoS,

Basic Optical Technologies: DWDM, PoS, Ethernet.

Strong IP network troubleshooting skills

Performs network integration for ISP infrastructure. Maintain and Manage ISP data center and Cisco Backbone Network.

Design and implement Backbone and Corporate network

IP Planning and Implementation.

Implement new technologies within Nomad data center

Hardware and software upgrades of high end Cisco routers and switches

Metrics gathering, reporting and preventative maintenance of the network

Identify and document Core Network

Proactively anticipates framework and infrastructure requirements for network & application needs

Maintain a professional relationship with the Customers and vendors.

Atmanirbhar Bharat: ITI ropes in C-DoT, Tejas to demonstrate BSNL's commercial 4G network :-

NEW DELHI: State-run ITI Limited has partnered with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), India's indiginous technology wing, and homegrown Tejas Networks to deploy core and radio network for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's (BSNL) fourth generation or 4G services foray, as part of a pilot initiative.

"This (BSNL supply) is an opportunity for us. We are looking at Indian companies that can transfer technology so that we can manufacture equipment," RM Agarwal, chairman, ITI Limited told ETTelecom, adding that it has already partnered with C-DoT for core, and Tejas Networks for radio access network (RAN) for the Proof-of-Concept (PoC).

Agarwal-headed public sector company is aggressively eying to supply next-generation of telecom gear to BSNL in line with the Centre's ambitious Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) initiative that aims to reduce country's dependency on imports.
