Being born in a farmer’s family and worries about the sufferings of their family due to poor agricultural scenarios pushed Raman, Rounak and Priya to find out solutions for different rooted out challenges in this sector. Agrifeeder was founded in the year 2016 as Kisan Chakra by Raman and Rounak which later got incorporated as Agrifeeder Agricultural Services Private Limited on the 3rd day of April 2017. Agrifeeder is a service and products based agri-startup providing different services from cultivation to supply in the market as well as manufacturing different kinds of products which they use to sell through their distribution channels as well as through different e-commerce sites. Its Service category contains – Storage Facilities, Buying and Selling Sections, Promotion of Zero Budget Natural Farming, Providing Agricultural Technique Assistance and Financial assistance and Its Product category contains their maiden launched product Lemongrass based herbal Tea. Agrifeeder is trying to develop agricultural-based Rural Industries to generate employability and enhance farmers livelihood. of Bihar under Startup Bihar policy. Department of Industies, Govt. of Bihar supported Agrifeeder with seed fund of ₹10,00,000. Later in 2021, it succeeded in making in the winners of MIRI Gramodhyog Ideapod Organized By Drishtee Foundation as 2nd Runner up and received a prize money of worth ₹2,00,000. Bihar Industries Association is incubating as well accelerating Agrifeeder under the mentorship of Shri Ram Lal Khetan, a renowned businessmen of Bihar. Agrifeeder have an XLRI alumnus Prof. Dr. Debajyoti Mukherjee and Miss Usha Jha, President, Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh in their advisory committee. Apart from founder Raman Kumar and Two Co-Founders Miss Priya Pandey and Rounak Kumar, Agrifeeder is operating with a team of more than 10 skilled employees as well as generating indirect employment for around 6-8 persons weekly. More than 100 farmers are using our services and we are selling our products Pan India and overseas as well through different distribution channels and ecommerce sites. Till now we have reached in more than 50 cities and placed our products in many supermarkets and malls such as Khadi Mall, Patna, Bihar Emporium, Delhi, 9to9 chain of supermarket etc.
