Pehle Column Cast Hoga Ya Pehle Brick Wall? 🧱🏗️

RCC framed building mein construction sequence ko lekar site par ek common confusion hota hai — column pehle cast karein ya brick masonry pehle?

Generally, RCC framed building mein foundation → RCC columns → beams → slab/frame → brick/block infill masonry ka sequence follow kiya jata hai, as per approved structural & architectural drawings.

Lekin sirf column pehle cast kar dene se column-wall cracks automatically nahi rukte. Cracks ka reason differential movement, masonry shrinkage, beam/slab deflection, poor wall-to-column connection, improper curing aur inadequate interface detailing bhi ho sakta hai.

👉 Column first problem nahi hai — wrong column-wall detailing problem ho sakti hai.

Isliye site par “contractor normally aise hi karta hai” ke bajay approved drawings + proper detailing + correct construction sequence follow karein.

Plinth Level Galat Hua To Puri Building Me Problem Aa Sakti Hai! 🏠🏗️

Plinth level sirf building ki height decide karne ka matter nahi hai. Road level, surrounding ground level, site slope, drainage, DPC, Finished Floor Level (FFL), entrance, parking/ramp aur local building requirements ko consider karke plinth level plan karna chahiye.

Plinth bahut low hua to rainwater accumulation, dampness aur water ingress ka risk badh sakta hai, aur unnecessarily high plinth se extra steps, accessibility issues, ramp/parking coordination aur additional filling cost aa sakti hai.

Dono materials ke apne advantages hain.

AAC block lightweight aur faster construction ke liye useful ho sakta hai, jabki red brick traditional construction, local availability aur specific project requirements ke hisaab se suitable ho sakti hai.

Engineering mein koi ek material universally “best” nahi hota.

Material selection depend karta hai structural system, dead load, thermal performance, wall location, project requirements, material availability, labour aur overall project cost par.

Wall thickness sirf “safe side” ke naam par decide nahi honi chahiye. Load-bearing requirement, wall location, height, structural system, wind/seismic conditions, fire aur acoustic performance—sab factors matter karte hain.

Remember: Thicker doesn't automatically mean better! सही जगह पर सही wall thickness choose karna hi smart engineering aur cost-effective construction hai. 🏗️

Reality is much more complex.

A safe and economical footing design mein sirf Safe Bearing Capacity (SBC) nahi, balki structural loads, eccentricity, bending, shear, settlement aur soil parameters bhi check karne hote hain.

👉 SBC is only one design parameter—not the complete foundation design.
