From debugging silicon issues to solving complex system-level challenges, no two days look the same for Ruchi Shankar, Design manager, Automotive connectivity solutions at TI India.

In this edition, Ruchi shares how cross-functional collaboration drives innovation, and how engineers get broad exposure across multiple domains in their roles while tackling real, complex problems along the way.

If you're curious, collaborative, and excited by technically deep challenges, there's a place for you here. Explore opportunities at http://ms.spr.ly/6180v9Qz6.

What if machines could move beyond detecting change to understanding expected operating patterns over time?

This demo explores anomaly detection followed by on‑device learning using the F28P55 microcontroller — where a fan system monitors vibration patterns in real time, flags issues, and retrains the AI model entirely on the microcontroller.

The result is adaptive learning at the edge. The system retrains itself locally to distinguish genuine faults from natural aging. Gradual wear becomes the new baseline not a false alarm. No cloud, connectivity, or external data pipelines required.

Key observations from this demo:

✅ Fewer false alarms
✅ Reduced unnecessary maintenance
✅ Smarter, more autonomous operations
✅ Customizable environments

Industrial intelligence is moving to the edge. And it's learning as it goes. Learn more: http://ms.spr.ly/6185v5Ffz

Some of our best engineers started as interns. And that's why at TI, we believe internships are more than experience. They're where real problems get solved, mentors show up, and careers quietly take shape. Across our teams and time zones, we've watched interns grow, Riya's journey from intern to full-time engineer is a testament to just that. 💡

Meet Pooja! 👋

What started as a simple curiosity for physics set her on the path to engineering and today, she’s a Design manager at Texas Instruments India, shaping how technology comes together in the real world.

Early in her journey, she was part of the team that built the C29 processor. Today, she leads a team in the Processors and MCU space - growing in both role and impact with every step. 🚀

But for Pooja, the journey goes beyond technology. She’s committed to increasing women’s participation in STEM, actively mentoring and guiding the next generation to grow into confident leaders. She believes, success isn’t just about what you build, it’s about who you enable along the way. 💫
