Job Description – Sales Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to promote and sell our products/solutions, provide technical consultation to clients, and support them in finding the right solutions for their needs. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for building strong client relationships, understanding customer requirements, and ensuring successful project ex*****on.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through client visits, networking, and market research.
• Present and promote products/solutions to clients by explaining technical features, benefits, and applications.
• Understand client requirements, prepare customized proposals/quotations, and provide pre-sales technical support.
• Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and feasible.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers while maintaining profitability.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Provide after-sales support and resolve customer queries in coordination with the service team.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback for product/service improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation) or related field.
• Experience (2–5 years) in technical sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Knowledge in Electrical Switchgears.
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel in Tamil Nadu ( To be Stationed in Chennai )to meet clients.

• Prior experience in B2B/industrial sales.
