Glass Reinforced Plastic; or simply referred to as FRP/GRP; is a composite material consisting of glass fibres embedded in a resin matrix. It has the benefit of load bearing strength of glass fibre and the Corrosion Resistant Properties of Plastic Resins. Additives and fillers are used to enhance functional and mechanical properties of composites; such as Barcol hardness; Structural strength; Tensile strength; Compression strength; Electrical Insulation and Heat resistant.
