🎃 Keeping Wexford safe this Halloween 🎃

Gardaí will be carrying out additional policing duties across County Wexford over the Halloween period, with a focus on public safety, responding to incidents and tackling anti-social behaviour.

A few reminders to help everyone enjoy a safe Halloween:

👻 Ensure children are supervised while trick-or-treating and wear bright or reflective clothing.

🔥 Keep costumes away from flames and keep children well away from bonfires and fireworks.

🚫 Do not purchase, use or handle illegal fireworks. Report dangerous bonfires and unsafe activity.

🏘️ Respect neighbours, local property and the wider community. Anti-social behaviour and disorder put others at risk, and will not be tolerated.

Gardaí will be out across Wexford throughout the Halloween period.

In an emergency, call 999 or 112.

Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween!

Parents/Guardians

With Halloween and Fireworks season getting under way can you please ask your children not to let off Fireworks on our pitch this year.
Under no circumstances should anyone enter Bridge Rvs pitch with fireworks. They are dangerous with the potential for life changing injuries.
While everyone knows Fireworks are illegal in this country every year for the last few years there have been groups coming down to the pitch to let them off.
This is very upsetting for our neighbours and the animals around the village.
This year the committee will be monitoring the pitch and will be contacting An Garda Siochana if we see anyone entering with anything that looks like Fireworks.
We have spent a lot of money on getting our pitch what it is now and want to keep it this way for as long as possible.

Regards Bridge Rovers Committee.
