C·Top Design presents James McNamara , founder and Creative Director of JMC Studios, a luxury interior design studio based in Westport, Co. Mayo, creating bespoke residential and commercial interiors throughout Ireland.
A native of Achill Island, James graduated in Interior Architecture and Design before establishing JMC Studios in Westport, with the wild landscapes, colours, and textures of the west of Ireland weaving their way into everything he creates. Every project is bespoke, developed around its own distinct narrative, and shaped through an intuitive use of colour, materiality, and atmosphere. The studio's work is defined by an understated sense of luxury, interiors that feel immersive and deeply personal, while remaining warm, functional, and made to be lived in.
This stunning master suite project is a masterclass in layered, atmospheric design. Dekton Rem brings a luminous marble-effect finish to both the vanity unit and the shower enclosure, its warm white veining providing a sense of continuity and quiet luxury across the space. In the adjoining dressing area, Dekton Morpheus tops a beautifully crafted fitted dressing table set within rich dark-stained oak joinery, an elegant detail that speaks to James's meticulous attention to material and finish at every scale.
