GD88 Uncooled Gas Detection

Every gas has specific “absorption peaks” where it absorbs infrared light. If you look at a scene through a GD88 with its interchangeable filters, the gas cloud appears as a dark or bright plume vs the background.

The video shows the GD88 detecting Methane.
