The countdown is on⏱️🚨

Longford Triathlon Club is thrilled to be hosting our round of the Midlands Aquathon Series πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ next week, and we can’t wait to see you all on the starting line!🫢🏻
Whether you’re looking for a mid-week sprint or a chance to test your endurance, we have got two options lined up for you:
⏱️The Race OptionsπŸ‘‡:
*250m swim /5km run
*750m swim/ 5km run

πŸ‘‰A Triathlon Ireland (TI) Race license is required and valid TI membership card( must include photo) and ID will need to be presented at registration. ODM may be purchased in advance via the TI website.
Only one member of a Relay team is required to have a TI or ODM license.

Aquathon Series is Back- And what a start 😍

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in the opening event of the Aquathon Series this evening, brilliantly organised by Lough Key Triathlon Club. With fantastic conditions, a great turnout, and a fabulous spread afterwards, it was a wonderful start to the series.

Well done to all participants, especially those who completed their very first open-water swim β€” a fantastic achievement and milestone πŸ‘πŸ»

A special mention goes to Joe Donohue, who secured 2nd place in the Open Event, with Seamus Murtagh, who took 1st place in the Try-a-Tri Event. Outstanding performances from both athletes and all our club members who took part πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ’™πŸ’›

We're excited to host the next event in the series on Wednesday, 17th June, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great evening of swimming, running, and fun.πŸ’™πŸ’›

Another busy week for LTC.
Edel Nolan tore around the Dublin Women's Mini Marthon with incredible speedy time.
Club members took to Tarmon for swimming on Monday.
Our cyclist braved the weather on Thursday
Congratulations to Sinead Smith & Ciaran Nugent who took part in Brian Boro Triathlon in Clare .
Another triumph for the unstoppable Eiviltas Evan Quigley who came 2nd in the Adventure Racing Ireland in Di**le.
We had 7 brave members on our Club Cycle this morning dispite the wind & rain.
Congratulations to Rohan Jangam , Shona Ni Maitiu & Padraic McWeeney who all took part in the Windmill Wheelers Sportif in Elfin this morning
Another outstanding achievement for our Marathon Phenomena Edel O Hanlon who placed another Marathon under her belt competing the Portumna Forest Marathon.
Julia Radave was at it again this weekend taking part in Hell & Back. Well done Julia.πŸ’ͺ

The Tour de Conamara cycle took place Saturday and we had Margaret Gallagher, Mary Corkery & Paula Tanner take part in the 80k and Brendan Doyle & Rohan Jangam in the 150k.πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ
Down the road in Lough Cultra we covered an array of distances. Special shout out to Jules Ledwith who won the 1.6k swim πŸ’ͺπŸŽ‰ Marie Devlin Clyne & Kate Sexton also flew the 1.6k swim and Rita Moran & Shona Ni Maitiu took part in the 2.5k swim πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

Mel French flew the Club flag over in the Wells City Festival of Running 10k race , bagging herself a PB .πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

One day was not enough for Rita Moran , today she took to Athy for the 2k swim πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ
