2. Water-resistant: sheds light rain and spray. Breathable, flexible, good for active work.

In 1959, Blåkläder started making workwear in Svenljunga, in the heart of Sweden's textile country. It's still family-owned, and it still guarantees its seams for the life of the garment.

In 1975, Eamon Sheehan founded Kilkenny Welding Supplies. Over 50 years later, we are still family-owned and still behind the trade counter in Kilkenny and Portlaoise.

In 1984, a welding engineer started making welding gloves and clothing in his garage, because he believed welders deserved better protection and comfort. That garage became Weldas, which now employs more than 1,200 people and runs its own tannery.
