What is the difference between ice cream and gelato?🍦

Gelato is a traditional Italian dessert, which is often mistaken for ice cream, but there are some differences; Gelato contains less milk fat, typically around 4-9%, resulting in a smoother (and healthier) consistency.

Unlike ice cream, gelato is churned at a slower pace, incorporating less air and creating a denser texture and served at a slightly higher temperature, gelato maintains a silkier and softer feel.
