We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Feed Milling Department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects from concept through to completion
• Liaise with clients and understand project requirements
• Prepare quotations and project cost estimates
• Specify equipment and materials
• Provide technical input to our design team
• Coordinate project delivery and client communication

Requirements:
✔ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
✔ Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
✔ Project Management experience
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Feed milling industry experience advantageous
✔ AutoCAD experience advantageous

Crowley Engineering is currently seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join our team at our facility in Upper Glanmire, Cork.

Established in 1972, Crowley Engineering specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of dry bulk handling equipment. While our early focus was supporting the agricultural sector, today we deliver engineered solutions across a wide range of industries including quarries, food production, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Operating from our 12-acre site in Cork, which includes two large fabrication workshops and multiple storage facilities, our team of 85+ employees is committed to delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional to join a well-established Cork engineering company and play a key role in maintaining and improving our strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Health & Safety Plans and Risk Assessments for company projects
• Assist with site audits and reporting
• Promote a positive safety culture across the organisation
• Support management and site supervisors with a proactive approach to H&S
• Conduct H&S inductions and manual handling training
• Assist Contracts Managers with method statements and site-specific risk assessments
• Carry out risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning
• Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions
• Maintain training, incident, and compliance records
• Manage customer H&S portals and subcontractor compliance documentation
• Review and update the company Safety Statement annually

The Ideal Candidate

✔ Third-level qualification in Health & Safety
✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operational, contracting, or construction-related H&S role in Ireland
✔ Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Good understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation
✔ Full clean driving licence

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our colleague William (Willie) Callaghan, who passed away peacefully on 24th January 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

William was a dedicated and highly respected Safety Officer at Crowley Engineering for 18 years, and formerly served with the Irish Naval Service. His commitment to safety, professionalism, and care for others left a lasting mark on our company and on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
William was a beloved husband to Pat, a loving father and grandfather, and a true gentleman who will be fondly remembered by colleagues and friends alike.

On behalf of everyone at Crowley Engineering, we extend our deepest sympathies to William’s family, friends, and all who mourn his loss.

May Willie rest in peace.

Job Description

Do you have a passion for the agricultural sector? Crowley Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative to join a company that offers genuine progression.

The successful candidate will be based in our Cork office.
We offer a competitive basic salary and a company vehicle.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing sales of the company’s Feed Bins and Feeding Systems, sold directly to farmers or existing dealers within your designated territory.

This role requires adopting Crowley Engineering’s philosophy of building sales through long-term customer relationships.

A patient but committed approach is essential. A consultative mindset is required to develop sales based on customer needs, best practice, credible advice, and strong product performance.

Key to success will be the ability to build strong relationships within your territory and gain buy-in to the company’s philosophy.

Your Duties Will Include

Taking ownership of and maximising sales of Feed Bins and Feeding Systems within the assigned area
Maintaining the existing customer base and identifying new customers
New business development within the market sector
Monitoring and reporting competitor activity to the Sales Manager
Maintaining a strong field sales presence
Telesales when not on the road
Flexibility to carry out additional duties as required
Understanding farm-level issues and providing appropriate solutions
Attending trade shows and agricultural events when required

About You

Good understanding of the agricultural sector
Agri-related qualification desirable / highly advantageous
Natural rapport builder at all levels
Passionate about providing excellent customer service
Proactive, motivated, and a self-starter
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, including cold calling
Ability to work on your own initiative and achieve targets
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience in dairy farming / agri industry (essential)
Full clean driving licence

Role-Specific Skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office
