Pleased to announce that my journey towards Master Bladesmith is under way. I’m now officially an Apprentice Bladesmith with the American Bladesmith Society, the ABS. Documentation has just arrived in the post. Time to work on quality knives and have 2 years to perfect blades for performance testing for the Journeyman test.

Been a bit quiet the past few months, but the wait is worth it. Here are the latest collection of knives off the table. I’ve been playing around with Damascus steel and have three that are for sale. Last knife is a more fantasy style blade. If you like what you see, please message me for a price.

Finished my conversion on my hydraulic log splitter. Did a test piece of Damascus using 15n20 and 80CRV2. I ended up with a small billet of steel which could turn into a nice little knife. I’ve already made the raindrop pattern so stay tuned to see the finished result.

Great start to the new year this January. This Kiliji sabre is off to its new owner. I’m pleased to say they are absolutely delighted. I enjoyed the challenge of this build because there were a few new techniques that picked up along the way. I’m going to be making some sword blanks very shortly, so be sure to reach out if you’d like to put an order in.
