The foundation that everything is built on is the Road Safety Authority (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness) Act 2012. It established the legal basis for commercial vehicle CVRT testing in Ireland, as well as the obligations drivers and fleet managers have in keeping their trucks and vans up to spec.
