And we’re underway at European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel - EPUAP 2026! 💜

Day 1 has begun at the iconic Royal Dublin Society, Dublin, and it’s great to see the conversations already happening around pressure care, repositioning and improving outcomes for patients.

Over the next three days, the Meditec Medical team will be at Stand 36, connecting with healthcare professionals, exchanging knowledge and demonstrating some of the solutions we work with every day.

On stand, we’re showcasing the Mediair Turn Sense Mattress, our EKA repositioning range, and the Qpro2000 Mattress and Pump, giving visitors the opportunity to see the equipment first-hand and speak directly with our team.

It’s an opportunity to learn, share experiences and have meaningful conversations with the people working every day to advance pressure care and patient wellbeing.

Why would you choose an ultra-low bed instead of a standard hospital bed?

For someone at risk of falling from bed, sometimes the most useful feature isn't how high a bed can go, it's how low it can go.

The E3802 Ultra Low Profiling Patient Bed lowers to just 21cm from the floor. That lower sleeping height can help reduce the distance of a potential fall, while also making it easier for some users to get in and out of bed.

When care is being provided, the bed can be electrically raised up to 76cm, giving the carer a more practical working height.

"Alternating pressure” sounds technical. The idea behind it is simple.

When someone spends long periods in bed, the same areas of skin can stay under pressure for too long. An alternating pressure mattress changes which air cells are supporting the body, so pressure is regularly redistributed rather than staying in one place.
