Well done to James Dorrian from Ardara, Co. Donegal, and Alexandru Ciocan from Ukraine, who received their September EHS Safety Awards this week. Both James and Alexandru have consistently supported their colleagues on site and have embraced our MISE – Make It Safe Everyday Safety Programme from the very beginning. Their positive approach reflects the importance of building a strong safety culture, looking out for one another and taking personal responsibility for keeping everyone safe. We’re proud to see their efforts recognised by one of our valued clients and congratulate both men on this well-deserved achievement.

Back to Basics | Safety Starts with 'MISE'
Today, we brought our team together on one of our sites in Germany for a practical People-Plant Interface demonstration, reinforcing the importance of recognising critical risks and keeping safety at the heart of everything we do. As part of the 2026 CIF Construction Safety Campaign, running this week and next and through our own MISE-Make It Safe Everyday Behavioural Safety Programme, we encourage everyone to take personal responsibility for safety, remain aware of their surroundings and always look out for one another. Practical demonstrations like this help turn awareness into action and strengthen safe behaviours across all our projects. At Source, safety starts with MISE, is strengthened by us, and matters to everyone.

We’re proud to take part in the CIF Construction Safety Campaign 2026, under the theme Back to Basics. For us, safety is about our people, looking out for one another and ensuring everyone gets home safely. Through practical activities and open conversations across all our sites this week and next, we’re reinforcing the importance of awareness, wellbeing, leadership and speaking up. Our in-house MISE – Make It Safe Everyday Behavioural Safety Programme reinforces a simple message: safety starts with ME. Every choice I make, every action I take and the responsibility I share helps keep our sites safer for everyone.

We were delighted to be invited by Enterprise Ireland to the Nordics last week, taking in the Norwegian DC Industry Conference before heading to DC Forum in Copenhagen. It was a really worthwhile few days sharing ideas, making new connections and exploring opportunities across the region. From site visits to industry discussions, it was a great chance to listen, learn and gain a deeper understanding of how critical infrastructure supports the way we live, work and connect every day.
