It is with great sadness that we remember Eddie Bell, a much-loved Father of our founders Richard and Norah-Anne Bell and uncle of our Managing Director, Neville Bell, and a special part of the Solmatix story.
Solmatix was first established on Eddie’s home farm, and during those early years he was a constant source of support, encouragement and humour. His presence, friendship and good conversation meant so much to Neville and the family, and his kindness will always be remembered.
A farmer and a man of deep faith, Eddie lived a life defined by quiet strength, hard work and care for others. Over his 97 years, he shared his wisdom and encouragement generously, leaving behind many cherished memories.
Neville shared: “You were always there with a kind word, sound advice and a bit of humour. I will always be grateful for your support and for the many conversations we shared.”
“You lived a long and faithful life, and while we will miss you dearly, we take comfort in the love, wisdom and memories you leave behind.”
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Eddie’s family and everyone who knew and loved him.
