A strong week for the Dornan WXT team as we marked World Safety Day alongside a milestone of 2.5 million hours worked LTI (Lost Time Injury) free.

This milestone reflects the commitment, discipline and shared responsibility demonstrated by everyone on site, with safety embedded in how we operate every day.

Throughout the week, Dornan reinforced this culture through a series of safety initiatives, with the support of our PMC, Turner and Townsend, and the wider client team.

The week concluded with a site BBQ and small tokens of appreciation.

A result the team can be proud of and a standard we will continue to uphold.

This year, Dornan teams, families, friends, clients, and communities came together in support of Pieta House and 113 Zelfmoordpreventie, united by one shared purpose: bringing hope to those facing crisis.

Across our projects and locations, colleagues organised walks throughout the week, with many participants beginning their journey at 4:15am on Saturday May 9th. Together, we walked and ran 3,500 kilometres on Strava in solidarity with those affected by su***de and self-harm.

We are proud to have donated €7,000 to Pieta House, which provides free support to people experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and bereavement following su***de, and €1,500 to 113 Zelfmoordpreventie, the Netherlands’ national su***de prevention and crisis support service.

Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this meaningful cause.
