In 1936, we embarked on a mission to supply a diverse range of products for Irelandโs post-war economy. From a small company with various divisions, including at one stage a foundry and electrical switchgear manufacturing capabilities, TEC was always about more than just products; we were about solutions.

The 1950s marked a significant shift for TEC, as we began importing industrial hoses and fittings, seizing a gap in the ever-evolving market. This pivotal move laid the foundation for our reputation as Irelandโs foremost supplier of hoses, fittings, and adaptors.

The early 2000s saw TEC branching into two entities - TEC Industrial and TEC Electric, each carving its niche. TECโs journey continued to be one of adaptation and forward-thinking.

The acquisition of TEC Electric by Kempston Controls and the subsequent dropping of the TEC Electric brand was a turning point. It inspired us to revisit and revitalise our roots, leading to a reimagining of the TEC name and logo.
