Today we supplied & fitted this striking set of Platin P66 in Matt Black for a customer who travelled all the way from Killarney to get his desired wheels.

Unlucky customer..........
After buying this vehicle it broke down within 2 weeks. 1 auto electrician, 2 garages and over €3,000 later he asked us to take a look at it.

The Symptoms .....
❌ Engine turning but no start
❌ Engine light not visible at times
❌ No power to Engine Control Unit

After 3 hours' observation of wiring diagrams and test procedures we were led to a wiring harness mess under the front left wing.
Unfortunately a new harness would take 3-4 months to arrive so we opted to repair it instead.

The fix.....
✅ Replace 90% of the wires due to damage
✅ Tape the harness
✅ Add flexible conduit for protection
✅ Tape over the conduit to seal it up

The vehicle is now running perfectly with no issues or fault codes.
It's a pity we didn't get the vehicle at the start and we could have saved the customer a lot of money.
