It is with a heavy heart that we announce that John has passed away. After over fifty years manning Vickery Hardware he can finally rest.
Having taken over the shop from his father Sonny Hurley in his early twenties John has been a cornerstone of the Bantry community. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. We hope everyone holds onto their fond memories of John from over the years. Although it is “Vickery & Co.” over the door, we hope everyone will continue to call it “John Hurleys”

We are very sorry to say we will not be selling Christmas trees this year.

Our old supplier is no longer in business and we have not been able to find a new one that lives up to our usual quality at a reasonable price.

Hopefully we will be selling them next year.
