A compact bin that works harder.

The BriteBin 120L Solar Compacting Bin is designed for streets, parks and public spaces:

• An on-board solar panel powers it
• Reduces street litter volume by up to 90%
• A hands-free foot pedal and a hopper-style opening
• A custom graphic wrap, if you want it to match your town

Also available as a smart version, connected to the BriteBin software, so councils can plan collections around the bins that need attention.

500 PEL BriteBins are rolling out across Melbourne

We're delighted to share that the City of Melbourne has chosen PEL solar-powered compacting smart waste and recycling bins to support its sustainability and waste collection operations.

500 bins, manufactured by our team here in Co. Mayo, have been installed across the C*D, Southbank and riverside parks. Each bin is fitted with sensors which measure fill level, number of users, temperature, and other smart features helping reduce unnecessary collections and keep the city cleaner.

Superfy - PEL's distribution partner are currently installing the BriteBins through out the City of Melbourne.

As of this week, the EU's new packaging waste rules (PPWR) are in force across every member state. If you're a business trading packaged goods into the EU, this is now live, not upcoming.

75 years. Eleven final defeats.

Yesterday at Croke Park, none of that mattered anymore. Andy Moran's Mayo went toe to toe with reigning champions Kerry and came out on top, 1-20 to 1-17. Captain Jack Coyne climbed the Hogan Stand steps and lifted the Sam Maguire for the first time since 1951.

If you're from Mayo, you know exactly what this means. This isn't just a football result. It's 75 years of hope, heartbreak and never giving up, finally rewarded.

Spain are in the World Cup Final. This Sunday. Against Argentina. The whole country stops.

450,000 visitors. €50 million economic impact. 82,300 in Croke Park on Sunday. Galway, you're ready.

The Galway International Arts Festival is in full swing, the city is buzzing, and this Sunday Galway take on Limerick in the All-Ireland Hurling Final with 82,300 supporters packed into Croke Park, and thousands more watching the live big-screen broadcast right here in the city.

We're incredibly proud of this one. 🌊
This is one of our BriteBin smart litter bins installed in Lecco, on the shores of Lake Como in northern Italy.

When we set out to build the BriteBin, we weren't thinking about how it would look in a product catalogue. We were thinking about the person walking past it on a warm evening. The family on a day out. The local council trying to keep a beautiful place beautiful.

We wanted to build something that fitted in. Something that made it just a little easier for people to do the right thing without thinking twice about it.

And when we see it sitting on the shores of one of Europe's most iconic lakes, in a community that clearly cares about its environment we think we got it right.

From a small manufacturing facility in Co. Mayo, Ireland, to the banks of Lake Como, Italy.
That never gets old. 💚
