🌾🚜 Harvest Season is Well Underway – Please Drive Safely! 🚜🌾

The harvest is now in full swing, and you'll be seeing more combines, tractors, trailers and other farm machinery travelling between fields on our local roads.

If you find yourself behind a combine harvester, please be patient and give them the time and space they need to get safely from one field to the next. These machines are large, slow-moving and often have very few safe places to pull in.

🚜 Please remember:
✅ Slow down and be patient.
✅ Never overtake unless it is completely safe and legal to do so.
✅ Leave plenty of space.
✅ Watch out for mud on the road and machinery turning into fields.
✅ Expect the unexpected around bends and on narrow country roads.

Our farming community works long hours at this time of year to bring in the harvest safely. A little patience from everyone helps keep our roads safe for farmers, motorists, cyclists and pedestrians alike.
