From a conventional food court to a dining destination. ✨

Located on the fourth floor of Emporium Pluit Mall, Jakarta, Food Empire spans approximately 3,700 m² and was renovated to create a warmer, more restaurant-like dining experience.

Working alongside Metaphor Interior Architecture, ALTA Integra developed a layered lighting strategy combining ambient, accent, decorative, and task lighting. Warm-white light, carefully planned illumination, and flexible lighting controls help create a comfortable atmosphere while supporting daily operations and future tenant changes.

From concept development to commissioning, the project was delivered in approximately 90 days.

Light as a guide. Sound as an experience.

For Masjid Apung Ancol, ALTA Integra brought together lighting design, acoustic design, and audiovisual systems to create a calm and contemplative worship environment by the water.

Inspired by An-Nur, the Guidance Light, the lighting uses soft illumination with focused accents on the mihrab and key architectural lines, creating an atmosphere that supports focus without overpowering the space.
A reminder that building performance is not only about how a space looks, but how it feels, sounds, and is experienced.

Lighting is more than illumination. It can shape how buildings perform and how people experience them.

On 3 September 2026, Herwin Gunawan, Principal of ALTA Integra, was invited by Signify as a keynote speaker at Signify Innovation Day 2026 – Light the Future in Jakarta.

In his session, “Light as a LEED Strategy: Challenges, Strategy and Lighting in LEED v5 and v4.1,” Herwin explored how lighting can contribute to sustainable building performance, from energy efficiency and daylight to glare control, lighting quality, and occupant experience. The discussion also highlighted an approach that is central to ALTA Integra: building performance works best when disciplines are integrated, not isolated.

ALTA Integra brought acoustics and lighting together through a custom Binary Amplitude Diffuser (BAD) ceiling with programmable RGB lighting, balancing technical performance with visual expression.

Potato Head Studios Bali was designed to create memorable experiences.

But great hospitality isn't only about what guests see.
It's also about what they hear, or more importantly, what they don't hear.

When the acoustic design specified by an international consultant met local construction realities, ALTA Integra helped bridge the gap. By reviewing local material alternatives, evaluating performance, and supporting construction implementation, we helped ensure the original acoustic intent remained intact.
