- The purpose of this extension is to facilitate the work of the
electrical engineer, by easing the edit operations in AutoCAD.

- Engineers have been using it for nearly 20 years, it was developed alongside their work, so it has many years of experience and programming time behind it.
- The software was written mostly in AutoCAD’s own scripting language, AutoLisp and in a small part in Visual Basic. The software helps with editing work partly by enforcing the written and unwritten rules regarding style
usage (e.g. for entities layer, color, or size) and partly by enabling the automation of
repetitive operations. For example, on a polyline, we can easily place repeats of the
same block and captions.
