Ice made on site. Less transport. Less plastic.
What does that look like in practice? Our 2026 season with Kaufland Croatia gives us some interesting results across five locations:
🚛 635 estimated ice deliveries avoided
≈ 9.5 tonnes of CO₂e avoided from transportation
≈ 31,750 km of delivery driving avoided
2,600 single-use plastic bags avoided, with 30% of customers bringing their own bags or coolers
8,667 bags of ice sold throughout the season
From Krk and Zagreb to Trstenik, Trogir, and Brda, these results show the potential of producing ice directly where customers need it. Fewer deliveries, less packaging, and convenient access to fresh ice, all supported by real operational data.
