We are excited to share that our project “The East Coast Boardwalk” has won the Gold Award under -Construction (Infrastructure) category at the HKIS Awards 2026. Aligned with this year's theme - Surveying for Innovative Solutions, the award celebrates groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of traditional practices and shape the future of urban development. That spirit of innovation came to life as we connected Fortress Hill to Quarry Bay, this 2.2km harbourfront link overcame extreme spatial and height constraints. By implementing prefabricated boardwalk decks, we minimized on-site risks, reduced costs, and accelerated the construction timeline for the public to enjoy.

Congratulations to our dedicated project team and partners on this outstanding achievement and thanks to the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors for this incredible recognition. We remain committed to pushing the envelope in urban development and infrastructure!

Site safety is always our top priority at Meinhardt, and we fully align with the Construction Industry Council’s (CIC) "Life First" campaign to elevate safety standards across the construction industry, actively walking the talk to ensure our innovative approaches and project timelines strictly uphold the highest safety and sustainability standards.

To put these core values into practice, we recently joined forces with the Drainage Services Department and CW-KL JV for the "Life First" campaign visit to our construction site in Tsim Sha Tsui. During the visit, the project team reviewed daily operations and risk management protocols while engaging directly with the workforce to reinforce key safety practices and ensure smooth on-site ex*****on.

We’re honoured to attend the VE Panel Signing Ceremony for the Central Kowloon Bypass (Kowloon Bay Section) - Trunk Road T2 Project. Marking this key milestone by signing the final four VE panels brings this landmark infrastructure project one significant step closer to its final stage.

The T2 project reflects our relentless pursuit of excellence in digitalization and innovation, showcasing the hard work of our incredible team. It’s a pioneer in Hong Kong to use drill bit replacement technology at atmospheric pressure and the first tunnel project to utilize 95% prefabricated components (employing DfMA and MiMEP principles) for the tunnel structure. It also incorporates innovative technologies such as robotic arm connections and drone inspections.

Thank you to the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) for the continuous support. We look forward to seeing this vital transportation link open to the public!
