Proud moment for !
We are pleased to share that HAESL has been recognized by HR Asia as one of the Best Companies to Work For in Asia. Beyond this main honour, we were also granted three specific category awards: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award; People Transformation Award and Tech Empowerment Award.

A sincere thank you to our representatives who attended the ceremony to accept these trophies on behalf of the company. Achievements like this are only possible because of the collective effort behind the scenes.

A special note of appreciation goes to our GMHR, Eliza Ip, and her team leads Ameco P**n, Karen Chung, Maria So, Veronica Chu and W***y Chan for their dedication to driving our diverse and inclusive workplace. Equal thanks also go to our key team member Angus Chan, alongside our dedicated Committee Chairs for building such an inclusive community: Ernest Cheung (Staff Recreation & Sports Club); Karina Mak (HAESL Women’s Network) and Louis Kong (HAESL Male Allies).

Breaking Barriers and Building Inclusion: HAESL x Good Period

has officially joined the Good Period I Certified B Corp community, bringing organic emergency pads and menstrual health resources into our workplace. It’s a small change that makes a massive difference, ensuring our team has what they need, when they need it, while stripping away the "hush-hush" stigma.

By introducing these resources, we’re doing more than just stocking a shelf; it’s about building an environment where everyone feels seen and supported. Our GMHR, Eliza IP recently shared her take on why social procurement and impact-driven partnerships are the real keys to a modern, inclusive culture.

Sustainability in Action — HAESL Takes Home Gold!

Big congratulations to the entire team — and special shoutout to Ravinder Bedi for receiving the award on our behalf! We've been awarded the 2024 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) Gold Award in the Manufacturing & Industrial Services sector. This celebrates our continued progress in environmental innovation, strong governance practices, and ever-growing sustainability culture.

In 2024, we achieved several major milestones:

⭐ Secured ISO 14001 certification and boosted our EcoVadis score from 50 to 90, landing HAESL in the global top 35%.
⭐ Expanded our energy-saving initiatives, targeting over 9 million kWh in electricity reduction by 2030.
⭐ Added two on-site reverse vending machines to reward recycling of bottles/cans, plus large-scale aluminium oxide recycling diverting 2–3 tonnes monthly.

From waste reduction to staff-driven green challenges, our people continue to power HAESL’s sustainable transformation every day.
