The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MoHW) Belize 🇧🇿 in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization
(PAHO/WHO) conducted a five-day training on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Basic Critical Care Course with health-care providers to enhance emergency care service delivery.
The Disease Control Priorities project estimates that more than half of the deaths that occur in Low middle income countries (LMICs) each year are from conditions that could be addressed by organized prehospital and facility-based emergency care. The training was support from the UN Road Safety Fund.
