At the Greek Space Tech Forum 2026 in Athens, the discussion reflected Greece’s decisive shift from participation in the space sector to the development of operational capabilities with national, industrial, and technological impact.

The agenda brought together ESA, EUSPA, the Hellenic Space Center, Greek industry, startups, and public authorities around Earth Observation, CubeSat missions, secure connectivity, dual-use innovation, climate and maritime resilience, AI-enabled data infrastructure, and the scaling of the Greek space economy.

The forum highlighted how space is becoming strategic infrastructure for Greece, connected to resilience, industrial opportunity, and data sovereignty.
